Over 18 years ago, Broubart’s Managing Director, Andre Wood, along with his fellow Directors, envisioned the transformation of Broubart Security from a traditional Guarding Business. Today, as we celebrate our 30th year in business, we reflect on the journey that began with a clear goal: to define Broubart’s driving purpose. This purpose was succinctly captured in the phrase “Driven by People and Powered by Technology,” which was embraced by Andre’s brother and fellow Director, Mark Wood, at the time. It was this vision that led to the establishment of Broubart Technologies PTY (LTD) 18 years ago.
Fast forward to the present, and we see how Broubart’s landscape has evolved, positioning us as one of the foremost Offsite AI CCTV Solution providers in South Africa. This transformation was made possible by the fortuitous encounter between Andre and an extraordinary individual, Anton Bloemhoff. Anton’s expertise and passion for technology aligned perfectly with Broubart’s vision for integrating advanced solutions into our business model.
Anton now leads our Artificial Intelligence and Technology division as a Director and shareholder, playing a pivotal role in shaping Broubart’s roadmap for the future. Starting as a trainee technician, Anton honed his skills through rigorous training and courses, mastering networking, hardware, software, and IT development.
His innovative spirit culminated in the creation of our state-of-the-art national Artificial Intelligence Technology offsite monitoring facility, the iCentre. Anton remains committed to discovering and implementing innovative solutions that enhance security while reducing costs, leveraging the synergy between our people, hardware, and software to overcome everyday challenges.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Anton finds joy in the great outdoors, indulging in activities like hunting and fishing. His multifaceted talents and dedication embody the spirit of Broubart’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
