Being a current hot topic of discussion, you would be hard pressed to find anybody who has not been affected by the relentless loadshedding we are experiencing across our country now.
We must proactively take into account that there is no immediate solution to this crisis, so alternative arrangements must be made by members of the public. This does not just apply to our regular everyday requirements, such as stoves, fridges, computers, cellphones, etc.
Unfortunately, this affects our security in radical ways. Extended power cuts affect the efficient operation of our alarm systems, CCTV cameras, intercoms, remote/automatic garage doors and gates, electric fences, to name just a few of our vital security electronics. The scheduled power cuts allow criminals to work around these conveniently provided timetables, in order to pinpoint areas of weakness in your security system.
Solution: Installing an inverter and backup system is a reliable way to ensure continued operations of your security system features during loadshedding!
Broubart has wisely being taking heed of all these issues and problems arising as a result of ongoing loadshedding, and can offer our customers inverters and back-up systems to provide necessary power to essential equipment.
These units are permanently coupled to a wall plug, ensuring that while mains power is present, the built-in battery charger recharges the batteries and keeps them fully charged, until power failures or loadshedding occur. Thereby ensuring that equipment requiring backup is permanently coupled to the Inverter through a connector.
If there is a power cut, the backup system automatically switches over to the inverter – continuing to provide power to the equipment. The same procedure is then reversed when the mains power returns, and the unit will switch back to mains power and automatically start re-charging the batteries. Because the process is fully automatic, the equipment remains connected to the system, even when power is restored. The inverter always remains plugged into the wall socket, thereby allowing automatic recharge when the mains power returns.
